White Water Theme Park Hotels
White Water is Branson's only outdoor water park and offers water-blasters, super-soakers, speed water slides, and a wave pool. Plus, Kalani Towers - the 6-lane Freefall and Racing thrill slide! All About White Water Fun!
Missouri visitors who are looking for a way to cool off during the summer will enjoy a visit to the White Water Theme Park in Branson, MO. The park is about 14 miles from the airport. The best way to reach the park is by driving.
White Water Theme Park opened in 1980. The park was expanded in 2011 with the addition of the Aloha River at Hula Hula Bay. This ride takes passengers on an 800-foot river through a Polynesian jungle. This is the longest ride at the park.
There are a variety of water rides at the park. The Surf’s Up Wave Pool has 500,000 gallons of water. The large rafts at Ohana Falls twist and turn as they speed around corners. Visitors will splash into a pool after they slide down the Pipeline Plunge. Kalani Towers has freefall slides and racing slides. The slides at Raging River Rapids are surrounded by waterfalls.
Attractions at the park are suitable for families. Splashaway Cay has water slides, elevated walkways and splash geysers. An aquarium overlooks Coconut Grove. The water slides in this area are designed for small children. There is a shallow pool here.
People who want to spend the day near a certain ride or attraction can rent a Cabana. The Regular Cabanas have four lounge chairs, a locker, a ceiling fan and a television set that has Dish satellite access. A table with four chairs and an umbrella is in an open area. Family Cabanas have seating for up to 14 people.
Park visitors who have forgotten to bring bathing suits or towels can buy them at the SurfSide Trading Company.
Hungry guests can have burgers, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches and ice cream at the park’s restaurants.
Some of the places to stay within two miles of the park are the Lodge of the Ozarks, the Super 8 Branson Motel and the Windsor & Greenbrier Inn.
White Water Theme Park is less than a mile from some of Branson’s other attractions. These include the Titanic Museum, the Hollywood Wax Museum and the World’s Largest Toy Museum.
