Branson Convention Center Hotels
The project, opened officially in August of 2007, and includes 450,000 square feet of retail shops and restaurants-including Bass Pro Shops and a Belk department store, condominiums, a boardwalk, marinas, entertainment, parking and an additional Hilton property, the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing.
A Quick Look at Branson Convention Center
Branson, Missouri may be known for its music, but the city also has a first-class convention center. The Branson Convention Center is located near the center of town inside the Branson Landing Development.
The Convention Center opened in September of 2007. It boasts more than 220,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom that has 23,000 square feet. It also has two exhibit halls, which together have a total of 50,000 square feet of exhibit space. It is managed by Hilton and connects to the 12-story Hilton Branson Convention Hotel.
A full range of services are available at the center, including A/V equipment and support, event management, full-service catering, high-speed internet and a business center. The Convention Center can handle an event of any size, no matter how complex.
The Branson Landing Development covers 1.5 miles of the shoreline of Lake Taneycomo, which is one of the prettiest lakes in the Midwest. Numerous shops and restaurants are located in the development, including Belk and Bass Pro Shops. There is also a marina and a boardwalk.
Branson has a number of attractions, many of which are devoted to music of all kinds. Live entertainment can be found every day of the year. The Hollywood Wax Museum and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum are both located in town. Branson’s Scenic Railway takes passengers on a 45 minute tour of the Ozarks, while Branson Landing Cruises offers guests a cruise of Lake Taneycomo aboard a replica of the grand riverboats of the past.
Silver Dollar City is just outside town. The amusement park has been Branson’s most popular attraction for more than 50 years. It features rides, festivals, shops and numerous restaurants all in a setting reminiscent of the 1880’s. There are 40 live performances everyday, and visitors come from around the world to visit.
Over 200 hotels are located in Branson. Together they have a total of 18,000 rooms. There are also a number of campgrounds and resorts located in the area. In addition, Branson is home to restaurants of every kind and price point, from standard fast food fare to fine dining.
